People often remark, "it must be inspirational to live in such a beautiful part of England". Well- It Isn't really. There are few hay bales; though I grant you, quite a few rivers in my songs. However- It is most definitely healing, uplifting and invigorating to the soul, after several hours of trying to capture in music and rhyme, man's inhumanity to man, to be able find within a mile's walk such wonderful sea and landscapes. Ahem- Thus one warm afternoon, last July, I took a few photographs; to humbly try to illustrate the reason why so many poets, writers, painters & composers from Benjamin Britten to Ruth Rendell have considered themselves fortunate to live here in Aldeburgh. *PjS*

The picture is entitled "Considering Ingredients"

YOU ARE HERE. As are we all which is nice. Clicking on the box Promenade The Puzzle will transport you directly to Jon Green's soft nurtured, mysterious, mazy, lexicographic gardens to wander the pathways of Peter Sinfield's early works. Clicking on the other boxes will deposit you in various libraries, laboratories, potting sheds and greenhouses, without which PTP, and its slothful sibling SongSoupOnSea, would not exist. *PjS*
