What's New

Peter with his long time, good friend “Uncle” Dik Fraser in 1967 after an afternoon of kite flying in Kensington Gardens. Peter and Dik met in 1963 when they both worked for Leo Computers (more on Peter’s computer days & how they influenced his later career soon). In 1969 Peter & Dik became King Crimson’s first roadies. Peter gave up his roadie duties after 6 months and Dik went on to become tour manager for King Crimson, ELP, King Crimson (redux), Roxy Music, Genesis, Eddie Murphy, .38 Special, Sonny Rollins and Claude Bolling. He is a partner in The Usual Suspects, an event production company. Dik has lived in New York since 1975 with his wife Dorothy and daughter Wendy.

Peter, we have had the odd contact via Facebook. Although we were on different teams at English Electric Leo I do remember you and Andy Dunkley was my shift leader. I have only recently discovered how your career has turned out. I cannot believe I have listened to your work so much prticularly things like Karn Evil 9. There are brief links to my English Electric past at http://www.facebook.com/index.php?lh=0b95a53d06994abbf83a1e03ff5297e4&#!/photo.php?fbid=10150101303897294&set=t.521197293&type=1&theater and http://www.facebook.com/index.php?lh=0b95a53d06994abbf83a1e03ff5297e4&#!/photo.php?fbid=10150103870062294&set=t.521197293&type=1&theater
I do not know who the photographer was. I remember Peter Smith, Frank Kelly and a flat somewhere in Bayswater and there is more that I shouldn’t really put here
I would be interested to know how this affected your career
    Regards
